verifying my blog in google webmaster tools?
Can somebody please tell me how can I verify my blog (blogger.com) in webmaster tools. I applied both, meta tags and html options but I am making some mistake while uploading. Can somebody please tell me the correct way to upload the html file or meta tag

Why won't Google Webmaster Tools work for my site?
Oh and this has been a problem since I submitted it a couple months ago, this is not a new submission.
I have submitted my site to Google webmaster tools. My site is a blooger.com blog. The only part of the tools that works is where it shows my subscribers. Everything else says "No Data Available." It says this everywhere. Have I done something wrong? Thanks.

Google Webmaster Tools - Sponsor but not Owner?
A few minutes ago, I tried to access my PAID FOR page (honoring my late Mother) at http:www.memory-of.com (the parent site for the URL address I was using) and was met with a first ever notice by Google that the site is on Google's "attack site" list.
I had 3 choices - to continue to the site or back out, OR select a tiny link that took me to the Google report on the site. I chose to see the report. The report (in part) says:

...of the 1937 pages we tested on the site over the past 90 days, 400 page(s) resulted in malicious software being downloaded and installed without user consent...the last time suspicous content was found on this site was on 2009-05-05...434 scripting exploit(s), 211 trojan(s), 47 backdoor(s). Successful infection resulted in an average of 10 new processes on the target machine..."

I had previously rec'd an email back in April from the site owners regarding an April attack on their site during a hardware upgrade, but the owners stressed that the site was safe. This is the first time I have visited the site since before that email.
I have already sent the site owners an email regarding this issue. But I also want to inquire with Google about the site report.
Although I am not the DOMAIN owner - my personal URL within the site was paid for - for "lifetime" and I am referred to as "sponsor" of the URL specific to my page. I cannot proceed with the verification process for the Google Webmaster Tool because I have to be able to upload a metatag or file to the site - and I cannot.
I considered posting a question at the GWT forum, but Google states that the GWT is for site owners. Would I be considered an "owner" to my specifically issued URL, since it's paid for and it's NOT a subscription (yet I hold no overall control for what appears on the page or how it functions?) Remember, I am NOT the owner of the registered domain http://www.memory-of.com. (The Google Tool reports the DOMAIN in the browser warning - not just my specific page. So the specific URL to my page is not included in this question.)
I've also gone to the Google Help Center and just keep getting redirected in circles when I try to find a "contact us" email address. (Plz don't tell me to use the "contact" links at the bottom of the page - I tried that.
Apparently this entire "tool" is all by Google - I want to email them! Can a site owner WHO HAS USED the Webmaster Tools please tell me what I can do about this - in my position?? I do not intend to "ignore" the warning by Google and simply enter the site, since it's report showed results from as recent at the 5th of May, so please do not answer this with "just ignore it" or that it's "safe" to go ahead and access my URL. Thanks!

Is there a place within Google webmaster tools where you can find out the last time your website was indexed?
I understand that Google indexes sites every three months; is there a way I can find out when it last occurred?
When I use the Google webmaster tool, it only shows my website containing 12 pages, and I actually have 80. In the last three months I have added tons of internal and external links and have installed a "sitemap xml file" that I also registered with google.
When they index again, will all 80 pages show up in the webmaster tool (as they were included in the sitemap xml file). Also, the webmaster tool says I have 500 links, and I have added several thousand; when they index, will this be reflected?

How do I get traffic to a blog on blogger?
I need people to find my blog via keywords but I can't find the Webmaster tool on blogger to do this. Or the Sitemap tab that supposedly exists. And how to do feeds. And I don't understand how I sign up my blog with search engines. Can someone explain this to a beginner as myself? I'm entering a blog contest partly judged on comments left on the page, so getting the traffic there is important.

why do i get different results when checking my back links on google?
when I check link:3steppowersystem.com, I get different results than links: and with link: whith a space before my url. does google use all of them or what? when I use webmaster tool it shows only 1, but I have a pr3. whats up?

Why I receive so little real enquiry?
Hi there,
I have a website where people can book services. From google webmaster tool I can see quite a lot of people entering into my reservation page ready to book services offered by us, but in fact I never received the same amount of enquiries as compared to figures that has entered into my reservation page, only 10 to 15%. Are they lost or being stolen half way by somebody else? It is really strange. Hope to get an answer from experts here, many thanks!

how to delete my facebook post from google search engine?
When I google my name, my facebook comment, which I did not intend it to be public, shows up on the first page of google search result. I set my fall of my facebook setting to private yet it still shows up on Google. I tried removing it through Google Webmaster tool but it won't let me. I need help!

it says www.rdknows.com/blog/07....../google.... if you get me and i cant add a meta tag between the head and title because there is no head any help please

Is there a way to download a file of page URL - page rank in Google webmaster tools?
iT lets you download a csv table of 404 errors, http errors, unreachable urls, etc, so it must also be possible to download a list of all the URLs indexed, pagerank etc, and different pages may have different pageranks depending on search terms...

Google webmaster tools verification?
Hey,
I own the site www.mympfree.co.uk it is hosted on freewebs using one of their templates. I want to verify it on google webmaster tools. This can be done in 2 ways, adding a meta tag, or uploading an HTML file.
My problem is that I can't access the HTML of the template to add the meta tag, and as far as I'm aware I can't upload an HTML file to it, so how do I verify?

Google Webmaster Tools - verifying my site?
I've been trying for the last hour to get my site verified by Google so I can use the webmaster tools. My site is built using a package from godaddy.com and I'm a little limited as to where I can add HTML etc. The Google instructions advise that I should add the following tag <meta name="verify-v1" content="PCHP9jdTI6aaOEBgWbYBU74BufaOLMZUI3I0XqeRCtg=" /> into the HEAD section of my page.
I think I've managed to do this (it's there when I go to my page and use view source functionality to review the HTML) but when I verify it on Google it says it can't find it.
My site is as www.jli-international.com.
Can anybody see anything glaringly obvious that I've done wrong?
Please help me!!! :-)

Do you have to be a webmaster to make a cache update request?
i was reading here "f you're in a hurry, and the page has already been updated, you can submit a request via the Remove URLs tool in Webmaster Tools, and we'll update our results in a few days"

does that mean i have to be a webmaster of a site to make a request or not?
no but the other stuff said about removing the images from the original site, it wasnt talking about asking google to update the cache of removed dead images.

Hi ,
I have just created my blog http://www.smsinhindi.com/ on blogspot. I am looking for a positive feedback from webmaster and expert how can I make it better for visitor. Please give you suggestion for
1- Look and feel
2- Load time of page
3- If there are any extra widget which is affecting perforamance of site.

Our website is finally live after 2 years of building it. (We where told it will take the most 2 months).
I know little about optimizing websites but to save cost I'm trying to do myself what i can.
reading about goggles Webmaster tools i have started to use it but than it ask me to verify my site by adding a meta tag to the homepage. so i contact my developer and ask them to verify the site they said there will be a charge of £50. so i told them they should let me access to my website and i will do it on my own, they have given me my FTP login details and password. can someone explain me how to use this ? or should i let them do it for £50?
Thanks for your help. but i dont know what a FTP is and how to get it and how to use it to add a Meta Tag.

How to upload google webmaster tools HTML to my Blog(blogger)?
I want my blog to be searchable in Google,so I went in "Webmaster Tools",downloaded the HTML file that is needed to verify my site. Then I went to "Layout" in my blog editing and when I try to upload upload the file,it says: "Your template could not be parsed as it is not well-formed. Please make sure all XML elements are closed properly.
XML error message: Content is not allowed in prolog" and "We were unable to save your template". How can I solve this?

How to get my site on the 1st page of the search?
I am building a website which deals with a fairly popular subject. When I search for the keywords that I expect my visitors to use, I see 100s of thousands of results.
I am using google webmaster tools and other methods to make my site visible to the search engines but I assume everybody does that.
