OMG What information should my webdesigner give me?
What will I need from my webdesigner that will enable me to make fixes or corrections to my website when he is complete?
I'm worried because I may want to add something into the site so should I request the page html source codes and softwares?, or license or index file?

How to find the right WebDesigner?
I've been wanting to establish myself as an entrepeneur, setting up a humorous t-shirt selling company. I want to test the viability of the idea by experimenting with an online shop and a web site.
I need the correct professional to design the site and to implement the shop. I want it really trendy, with all the web 2.0 clichets. Any idea how i should go about finding a web designer that is both economical (doesnt charge much), and is still a modern, conscious, and effective professional? Any sites? How would you do it?

I'm a webdesigner and need to change the resolution for my websites so that they fit on visitor's screens.How?
My templates must be set at 800x600 and do not show up on my visitor's computer correctly, they are much to small. I would like to know how I can change my templates to work on a greater majority of computers, especially 1024x768 and above. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm an author, and have a new age/spirituality book coming out in the fall, and would like a site designed. I'm not asking for offers here on Yahoo! Answers, but I would like to know the market/going rate, so I know I'm getting the best deals from web design firms. I'm not looking for one of these template website where one site looks like the next. Plus I will mainly need it to sell products so it needs to have a shopping cart.

Anyone who is an experienced webdesigner, knows of one or how i can find one, that would be interested in helping me re-create my site so that other people can better understand what I am trying to convey would be greatly appreciated.

What is an average monthly salary of a 5+ yrs experienced Webdesigner in the US, UK and Australia. Who knows layout design using Photoshop and Illustrator, html using Dreamweaver, CSS and no programming knowledge.
