Web designer, Flash designer, Html, dreamweaver, CSS ? What does it take to become a great web page designer ?
I know all this stuff, but i've really haven't done any real world projects, most of my portfolio is ficticious stuff, like the cafee townsend project in dreamweaver and the aquos site in cs3 ? any tips ?

Can any web-page designer help me with this problem?
I want to create a navigation bar for creating topics, but I do not want to use frames. How can I create a navigation bar that is common for all the pages? If any time I want to add a new topic it should be available in all the pages.

Suggestion for free WSYWIG web page designer?
I would like some suggestions for good, free webpage designers. I know Word has the option (but is limited and messy). Not interested in suggestions for site-builder tools like geocities, it has to be an independent tool. This is for charity which is why it has to be free. Thanks.

I'm on the search for the best, free, web page designer software or service.?
...Looking for something really easy to use but makes great looking websites as well. Preferably something with templates and wizards... Drag & drop is helpful, drawing tables is cool too.

What is the best Web Page designer?
At the moment I am using Microsoft Expression, but I am curious as to what is the best software. At school we use FrontPage, but that has been discontinued, and after this year they are going to DreamWeaver. I have never used this before and I was wondering how well it works.

A question to Web page designer?
I have a webpage I want to put some such code there so that my whole webpage would be hiddin under a solid cover.
Secondly, I want to make a smal slot/tab on that solid cover so that I may see a certain part of my page throgh that slot/tab.
Kindly advise me how could it be possible and what javascript will make it enable.

How can I find a quality web page designer?
My uncle's company is in need of someone that can upkeep their web page for them. From what they have been told, their web page is really complex, consisting of multiple layers.
They own a Kiteboarding company, and would prefer to have someone that understands at least a little bit of the sport, as it would be easier to keep the web page in the right terms. They have lots of ideas for the page, but no desire at all to deal with the design and technical upkeep themselves. They need it updated every week or a few times a week, and want to give it a new clean look.
How can I find a good web page designer/up keeper for them?

its really fristrating, i have only made two sites, one - a chat site and two - a myspace layout site.
Im not sure what to make next?

Information about a Web Page Designer?
I'm going to start college soon and was never sure what to do. But one of my hobbies and my loves, also what I'm good at is codes, doing pages. As in web pages or myspace or anything. I mean I can't customize it from scratch which I want to learn. So I was thinking about going to college for web page design.
But the down side is I hear they don't get paid anything.
Plus, with the economy who would have money to pay someone to do their web page.
& how would you get business?
I hear it's pretty hard as well and it messes with your eyes.

Do you need to be really creative to be a Web Page Designer?
So I'm currently in high school but I need to decide what type of elective I want to take next year. I pretty much know that I want to do something with computers. The computer courses that my school offers are Computer Programming, Computer Technology, and Web Page Design.
This year I am in Computer Programming and I like it so far. We use Visual Basic Express 2005. I'm currently trying to decide if I want to continue programming or try Web Page Design or Computer Technology. The thing is that I'm not too creative. So my question is do you need to be really creative to be a Web Page Designer? Say I were to make a webpage for someone. Would they be responsible for telling me the design of it and I just convert what they say into code? Or would I need to come up with some catchy type of design? I'm somewhat creative but not too creative so I think I might be okay but I would like another person's opinion. (preferably someone that has Web Page Design experience)

Becoming a Graphic Designer/Web Page Designer?
I'm going to be a senior this year and I was just wondering what I should already be familiar with heading into college about graphic designing/web page designing. I'm pretty sure that's what I want to do but I don't have a whole lot of experience. I'm worried that I don't have as much experience as most of the people who do it for fun on a daily basis. I downloaded photoshop and have been messing around with it kinda but theres so much stuff and I don't even know where to begin! It's overwhelming. I would also love to incorporate photography into my career. Like my ultimate goal would be to take awesome pictures and make a web page or something with them.
So what should I do in my spare time or whatever to get a head start on this career?.. for those who are in this field..

I need a web page designer cheap. Take a look at what I want.?
I want someone to program me, or show me how to, a website that is kind of like an ebay setting. Lets say that your selling stock in a car. I want someone to be able to log on, list there car (For a fee), and then have other people log on and buy shares of there car. So say a car is for sale for 5000$, Someone can by 10% of it for 500$, another person can by 5% for 250$ and so on. I need it to be instant, so when someone enters a bid, it automatically goes on the site. Any help would be great, the site is not about a car, but that is the premiss.
