do plants keep water storages?
if you were to water more than the regular amount needed to water the planet then would the plant store the extra water in some kind of storage? so when there is no rain or water they can use it

storage and organization products that are fairly easy on the eye?
I'm looking for storage products that are fairly attractive, like ok to be out in the living room. Everything I see looks too "containerish" or meant for an attic or huge and designed for school classrooms.
Anyone know of any large storage products that aren't so bulky and storage looking?
(for kids toys, extra blankets, magazines etc. just basic storage needs)
It's ok if the design is targeted for children. that's fine. I'm not just not interested in the large bin types.

How does a storage heater work with only one dial to set the output.?
Have moved into a new flat and the livingroom has a storage heater. It has 2 electrical supplies into it, one from a dual supply consumer unit and the other from the normal consumer unit. This heater has a built in convector which is turned off (small switch on the side). The heater has only one dial to set the output, nothing to control the input. It is always very warm, even set to minimum all the time and my first elec bill laid me flat on my back. How is the input set??? It is a Dimplex FCXA and i cant find info for this model on the net, and of course the info i can find on storage heaters tells me there should be 2 dials, input and output. Can anyone give me a good answer please, Thanks.

How many storage heaters do I need and where should I put them?
I am replacing the old electric storage heaters but have just bought the flat and have not lived in it. It is a 2 bed with a 20ft open plan kitchen to living room. There is only one heater in this room at present. Is this enough? Will I need one in the bathroom? I am thinking of getting Dimplex DuoHeat which have a booster too. Also, where is the best place to buy them? There seem to be plenty of websites advertising them but am I better off going to Wickes or somewhere?

How should I organize the storage in my bedroom?
I live in New York and have a small one bedroom apartment. The old tenants put up a "loft" for storage against one of the walls - right now I have some games, winter clothes, and other miscellaneous items up there. However, it's starting to make my bedroom look like a garage. Any ideas that are not too expensive to make my bedroom look like a serene bedroom and not like a storage locker? Thanks!

What is it called when the storage compartment is in the hood?
In some Porsches (maybe others too) the engine is in the trunk. So what would that mean for the storage compartment in the front? Because the "trunk" is the back of the car, and the "hood" the front. So if I had the storage compartment in the front, as opposed to the average car where it's in the rear, what would that be called?
Or would I just say, "Hey, I'll put my bags in the hood." ?
I mean, it sounds weird, don't you think?

The panels are metal. Little connectors attach to each corner of the panel so that they may be put together to make a box. They can come in different colors. You can build storage boxes for toys with them.

How big of a storage unit will I need?
I have a one bedroom house and I plan on putting everything in a storage unit for a couple of months. My main furniture includes: regular size dining table, dresser, full size mattress, washer & dryer, small dresser. I do not have couches or any other living room furniture to store.

How to position mattress in storage room?
i know it's a weird question and I tried finding something online about this but no luck. We have queen mattress that we need to put in a storage room for about 2 years. It's a nice mattress, so we want to keep it. It will most likely have to be placed standing up and my worry is that it may lose it's shape? Does anyone know if it will ? Will my clothes be safe in space bags stored in a storage unit?
I have a small storage unit. It is not climate controlled. I have two large space bags with clothing inside. Is it safe to store the clothing in the space bags in a storage unit? I do not live in a humid part of the country but it still concerns me. Any storage unit advice you can give would be appreciated. My items will be in the unit 8 to 12 months.
