How much do they really check in job interviews?
I have an associates degree from a community college as well as three certificates that has to do with my associates degree. I was wondering when I go on job interviews, besides stating it on my resume, do I need to bring my associates degree with me? Or do they verify that on their own to where they call the school? Or do they not check at all? I just want to be prepared. Any answers or opinions will help. Thanks!

How come sarah palin doesn't have more interviews and when she does Mccain is right next to her?
I've never seen an interview with Barack and Biden together in an interview , How come Mccain is always next to her and she doesn't really have one on one interviews.

How many interviews should I get in 4 months?
I started applying 5 months ago but only started reciving reponses 4 months ago and since then I have had 12 interviews. Is this bad? What could I be doing wrong? Its definately not my CV as I only apply using application forms and I can't go wrong there.

I had a phone interview Thurs. that went very well and a interview with the assistant and branch manager today that went very well. What is the name of a comedy Show that casts a retard that interviews people?
I saw this show one day switching channels and i've been looking for the name ever since. I know it is hosted in LA and it casts all sorts of awkward hosts. One of the characters in the show is a retarded person who interviews people and cant even talk. Instead he just jibbers something and the person being interviewed just interprets the question which ever way he likes, obviously in a funny manner.

What to wear for 3 different interviews?
I've had many jobs, but very few interviews. I haven't worked for corporate business very much (mostly odd jobs in different countries and working for camps and airports and private businesses). But now I have 3 job interviews this coming up week. What should I wear to each one? I have no idea really!
1) Sears (Merchendise and Pricing)
2) Lane Bryant
3) Starbucks (Barista)

How do you handle rejection after Interviews?
I feel bad when I go on interviews and hear that I did not get the job. I feel like something is wrong with me and I can not interview properly.
It may just be that my skill set is not a match for the job, etc.

What tests do they use in University interviews ?
I'm a non standard entry which means i'm based on the work/life experience i've had rather than qualifications so im pretty positive an interview will be required for me to be offered a place.
Its a Social Policy's Ba Hons at Anglia Ruskin .
If anyone could tell me their experiences of interviews, i've read a lot online about preparation, the UCAS help etc. But it would be great to know what kind of tests they like to use as well as personal experiences.

How to dress up for part-time college job interviews?
I'm used to taking jobs with real companies, and working full time, and for those interviews I would dress up in a suit and carry a portfolio.
But what about those $15/hr part-time on-campus jobs? I have a web designer interview coming soon and it's part-time. I'll be a programmer for my college. What should I wear to an interview like this? Would a suit/blazer be too formal? Would jeans and polo shirt be too unformal?

In most scenarios in investigations, should interviews be performed before charges are filed? In many investigations evidence is misleading, or unclear, so ideally should officers interview suspects before arresting or charging a person with a crime? Or do you feel that the evidence points to a suspect so the courts should figure it out?

What are some jobs (companies) that have group interviews instead of one on one interviews? I usually do bad at one on one interviews and don't get called back for the job and I usually get jobs where there are group interviews (with other applicants applying for the job) because they don't judge on what you say on the interview, just test your skills and train you? I want to be a flight attendant and i have been filling out applications and sending resumes to many different airlines for the pass couple weeks. So far i have got 2 invites to interviews. What do you think of behavioral and technical interviews?
Personally I like technical better because you can tell whether a person is ready or not for the job than behavioral – there is no right or wrong answer for behavioral. I believe it encourages a discrimination of character if one got rejected just because he has a different character or point of views to react to certain things (or if he doesn’t look “energetic” enough or “smiley” enough). I just hate it when the best BS out there actually got the job – without even considering if he knows the actual stuff. As a fundamental analyst, I believe past behavior cannot predict the future behavior. You would never get a straight answer from behavioral interviews and there is no proof that it is true or not! I don’t understand when companies do not have technical interviews. It is like gambling in a casino – relying solely on your gut instinct of the person who is sitting across from you seducing you not intellectually – but … I don’t know… something!

Can you schedule Medical School interviews during the weekend?
I will be in my first year working at a full time job and cannot just take off a whole week or days during the work week to go to interviews. I can go during any weekends then. If I cannot do the weekends then I might just apply a few years later when I have accrued enough vacation days.

What the Heck happens to make us bomb interviews so badly?
I have had some pretty good ones, but this was one of the worst interviews ever. I cannot believe some of the S**T that came out of my mouth and don't get why I didn't flow and say the right things as I have at past interviews.. I work in Social Services and basically said a couple of things that would guarantee I don't get the job. What's up with that? Is it just nerves?

Hi ive been to loads of interviews but I never have any questions to ask them and i cant think of any to jot down before I go. I know it looks bad, but they answer all the questions I am going to ask in the interview anyways.
People say you should always ask questions at an interveiw about the job but how can you when they have told you everything you need to know. Like, the hours, uniform, what the job entails, they answer all these before the end when it your time for questioning.
